Sephora Lash Stretcher Maximum Extension Mascara Review

One coat of Sephora Lash Stretcher Maximum Extension
This $15 mascara deserves a mixed review, in my opinion. It gave my eyelashes a lot of volume and length, but I also had to be very carful while applying so that they wouldn't be extremely clumpy. I like that this mascara has a curved wand, it helps get every lash, and the tube looks nice. It does have a slight grassy smell, but you can't tell unless you put your nose right up to the tube.

Cosmeticsdatabase.com gives this product a safety rating of 3 (Moderate Hazard, out of 10), which I think is pretty good for a mascara that's not advertised as "natural".  To purchase this mascara, and see a list of ingredients, visit The Sephora Website.

Honeybee Gardens Truly Natural Mascara Review

Two coat of Honeybee Gardens
Truly Natural Mascara in
"Black Magic"
Over all, I would say this mascara is pretty good. For $9.99 you get a simple, silver, 0.2 fl oz tube of mascara, which is a pretty good deal. That's about the same price as my former favorite mascara (Covergirl Lashblast Fusion), but this stuff is a lot less toxic. The wand of this mascara looks pretty average and I did not have a problem with clumping. In my opinion the mascara smells a bit like oatmeal, but I like oatmeal, so I'm not really complaining.

This mascara would be pretty perfect except that the results weren't very dramatic. With one coat it barely looked like I was wearing mascara, my lashes were just slightly more curled. A second coat was more noticeable, but it definitely didn't give me a dramatic look. I would recommend this mascara to someone who like their lashes to look natural and clump free or for use on bottom lashes to subtly a small amount of color, volume, and curl.

As for its "safeness" cosmeticsdatabase.com gives this mascara a score of 3, which they say is a "moderate hazard (out of 10)". For a list of ingredients and to purchase this product, you can go to the Honeybee Gardens website.
